UXPA Boston Board Nominee: Lisa Faircloth Carey

Biography

I’m a Senior Product Designer and the Design System Lead at Advisor360°, a leading wealth management software company. This is my 3rd finance related design role, the others being at Sallie Mae and Charles River Development. I’ve also designed UI and websites for a business intelligence software company, a commercial real estate firm, and was a freelance UX and content manager for almost 16 years. Before that I was in television marketing, post-production at WGBH, and other TV and film related roles after being a combo film and art major at SMFA and Tufts.
My time at A360° has taught me a lot about working in a growing and evolving fintech company, about the value of design systems and pattern documentation, collaboration and communication, and how design fits within strategic product management. Things I love about my job are working with designers and front end devs, listening to client feedback, leading design sprints, and experiencing how fast and far things are moving with both AI and UI design.
